In Ghana’s housing and construction sector, doors and windows are moving beyond their traditional role as mere openings and barriers. They are now central features in modern architecture, reflecting trends that prioritize aesthetics, energy efficiency, and security.

One major trend gaining popularity is the use of larger glass doors and windows in both residential and commercial spaces. Sliding and folding glass systems are being adopted in urban homes, hotels, and office buildings, creating open, airy interiors while connecting indoor spaces to gardens, balconies, and patios. Slim aluminum frames are often used to achieve durability while maintaining sleek, modern appeal.

Energy efficiency is also shaping choices across the country.
