Politician, Mr. Kennedy Agyapong, who aspires to become the flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party in the upcoming 2024 Elections, has initiated his campaign pledges.

The politician emphasizes that Ghana’s affordable housing was originally designed to provide shelter for the less privileged in society, but the reality is quite different, as individuals in influential positions are occupying these accommodations.

The outspoken politician asserts that there is an exploitation of affordable housing, and if elected, he will undertake a comprehensive review to ensure that these residences are allocated to the rightful beneficiaries.

Illustrating his point, he cites an example where three of his nephews are currently residing in Kuffour Affordable Housing, but they are renting it because a high-ranking individual in authority purchased the property and leased it out.

He affirms that if his government comes to power in 2024, it will address such issues and ensure that the original recipients of these housing projects, namely the less fortunate, regain their rightful access.
