Ghana’s government is set to elevate its railway transportation system by acquiring 12 modern trains from Poland.
These diesel-powered trains, designed for both regional and long-distance routes, promise a faster and smoother travel experience on Ghana Railways.
The first batch is expected to arrive next month, with reports indicating the sleek trains are undergoing final tests at the Pesa factory in Poland.
The deal, part of a framework contract with Ghanaian Railways, includes an option for an additional 10 trains.
