Away from that

The West Africa Music & Arts Festival in Accra, Ghana, debuting on June 19th, 2024, marks a historic moment for the region, coinciding with Juneteenth celebrations.

This groundbreaking event combines a vibrant music industry conference with a celebration of West Africa’s cultural richness.

It offers electrifying performances, interactive workshops, and arts installations, aiming to educate and connect industry players and audiences.

Founded on the principles of diaspora connectivity and education, the festival celebrates the region’s musical heritage and artistic talent while promoting unity, diversity, and creativity on a global scale.

On the International Front

China’s Ministry of Transport anticipates approximately 270 million trips per day during the upcoming May Day holiday.

The majority of these trips are expected to be made via private vehicles, comprising over 80% of the total mobility.

Additionally, the nation’s highways are projected to handle around 63.5 million vehicles daily, nearly double the usual volume.

Both the railway and civil aviation sectors are expected to experience increased passenger traffic compared to the same period in 2019.

Furthermore, toll highways in China will continue to waive tolls for passenger vehicles with a seating capacity of up to 7 people throughout the holiday period.
