The Bediako Brothers: Redefining Ghana’s Real Estate Sector

Ghana’s business horizon is marked by the dynamic presence of the Bediakoo brothers, Mr. Kwaku Bediako and Nana Kwame Bediako.

As the driving forces behind CH Group of Companies and Kwarleyz Group, these visionary entrepreneurs have significantly reshaped the country’s real estate sector, leaving an indelible mark on the skyline of Accra.

Mr. Kwaku Bediako, Founder and Group Executive Chairman of the CH Group of Companies, boasts over two decades of experience in international business.

Under his leadership, CH Group has evolved into one of Ghana’s largest conglomerates, with strategic investments in Oil and Gas, Agribusiness sectors and Real Estate.

In 1997, Mr. Kwaku Bediako embarked on a groundbreaking venture by establishing Chase Petroleum, a market-leading Oil Trading and Bulk Distributor. His entrepreneurial foresight led Chase Petroleum to become the first to be issued a Bulk Distributor’s License, securing its steady market prominence.

Expanding his vision, Kwaku identified a gap in the real estate market in 1999 and founded Goldkey Properties.

This move aimed to develop world-class residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties across prime locations in Accra. Goldkey Properties has since become synonymous with impeccable design, luxury, and attention to detail, transforming over 150,000 sqm of prime real estate in Accra.

Kwaku Bediako’s philosophy goes beyond business success; he is an active philanthropist, supporting environmental, educational, and social responsibility projects through the CH Foundation. His advice to business owners is rooted in following passion, embracing failure, and staying true to their vision.

Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Freedom Jacob Caesar or Cheddar, stands out as a prominent Ghanaian real estate developer and CEO of Kwarleyz Group.

His impressive portfolio includes over 700 properties, each a testament to his commitment to maximizing land use and promoting sustainable development.

One of Nana Kwame Bediako’s flagship projects is Petronia City, located in the Western Region of Ghana. Envisioned as a modern, integrated city with a focus on sustainability, Petronia City encompasses residential areas, commercial zones, and industrial spaces.

Nana Kwame’s journey began modestly, building two houses on one plot, and has since evolved into the development of iconic projects like Kwarleyz Residence at Airport, No 1 Oxford Street and Apartment in Osu.

Collectively, the Bediako brothers are not just real estate moguls; they are architects of change, contributing significantly to the transformation of Accra’s skyline.

Their stories inspire aspiring entrepreneurs in the real estate sector to dream big, overcome challenges, and make a lasting impact on Ghana’s evolving urban landscape.
