An agency that already runs a series of webinars for landlords is to hold a special one dedicated to explaining the pros and cons of the Renters Reform Bill.

Emma Foreman, who runs the lettings department at Complete Estate Agents in Devon, is hosting the event on July 4 at 7.30pm.

It’s titled ‘The Renters Reform Bill – Proposing a Revolutionary Change to The Private Rented Sector’ and is open to all landlords, is free to join, and will look into the proposals, what landlords need to prepare for and how it will change the landscape of the lettings industry.

She says: “The Bill proposes some revolutionary changes to the lettings industry and your occupation as a landlord, so it is important that every landlord understands its proposals and how they can prepare for action.

“When the [government’s] White Paper was first released in February 2022, there were 12 Action Points set out to achieve ‘A Fairer Private Rented Sector’. Not all of these 12 points are included within the released Bill, but we will still see the end of Assured Shorthold Tenancies and Section 21 notices, which are potentially the two biggest changes for landlords.”

Foreman has a series of 16 past webinars for landlords including legislation round ups, damp, and mould in your rental property, reducing your tax and Capital Gains Tax liabilities and many more. You can find them here: www.completeproperty.co.uk/landlord-webinars.
