The Ohio Ghana Festival is set to take place from July 31 to August 3, 2025, at the Discount Mall in Columbus, Ohio.
The event, themed “Bridging Cultures, Celebrating Heritage: Our Ghana Beyond Borders,” will showcase Ghanaian traditions through cultural performances, music, dance, food, and educational activities.
Notable figures such as Guinness World Records contender Afua Asantewaa O. Aduonum and King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II will be in attendance. Afua Asantewaa, who will also perform, praised the organizers for their efforts and expressed hope that the festival would become an annual tradition.
The 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) is set to reveal its nominees on Saturday, March 15, live on TV3.
A panel of industry experts meticulously reviewed submissions to ensure fairness and transparency, with final selections validated by the TGMA board. The highly anticipated Big 5 categories
Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Telecel Most Popular Song, New Artiste, and Artiste of the Year—will be among the highlights.
TGMA continues to celebrate and elevate Ghanaian music, inspiring artists and uniting industry players and fans. The countdown to an unforgettable awards show has begun.
The UK hospitality industry loses an estimated £212 million annually due to beer wastage, with research by Avani Solutions revealing that 43% of the two billion pints poured each year go to waste.
Causes include inefficient pouring, poor cellar management, and operational errors. To address this, Avani Solutions has launched WasteWatchers, an industry-first campaign backed by UKHospitality, aimed at training pubs and bars to reduce losses and boost profitability.
