Joy FM has launched a special Valentine’s Day promotion titled “My Endless Love,” which blends poetry and romance to captivate its listeners.

The station aims to create a unique and engaging experience in the lead-up to Valentine’s Day, offering listeners a chance to enjoy poetic moments alongside their regular programming.

The promotion will feature a variety of content that taps into the sentiment of love, creating an atmosphere of romance for the audience.

The initiative is part of Joy FM’s broader effort to add value and excitement to its content, making the Valentine’s celebration even more special for its listeners.

The maiden edition of AdinkraFest, a music, cultural, and tourism event, was officially launched in Accra at the Tourist Information Centre. Set to take place in Toronto, Canada, from April 19 to 25, 2025, the event will highlight Ghana’s tourism, arts, culture, and investment potential.

Over 10,000 people are expected to attend, with a range of activities designed to promote Ghanaian music and culture. Organized by Adinkra Promotions, in partnership with various organizations, the festival will also offer a platform for international collaboration on tourism and culture development.

Key figures from the creative sector attended the launch, including musicians and chiefs. Nana Obokese Ampah I emphasized that the event aims to promote Ghana’s culture and tourism on a global stage, beyond just a music festival.

The Ghana Dance Industry Awards will take place at the National Theatre in Accra on February 8, 2025.

The event will honour stakeholders who have contributed to the advancement of the dance industry. Robert Klah, the founder, emphasized that the awards aim to support and recognize dance’s impact on Ghana’s creative ecosystem.

Previous honorees included dance legends like Adjetey Sowah, Akosua Agyapong, and Reggie Rockstone.

This year’s event will feature musical performances and unite the dance community. The awards are supported by DDASPAG and powered by Dancetera. Tickets are available for GHS 100 (standard) and GHS 200 (VIP).

The Malibu Beach Inn reopened on January 24 after a 16-day closure, offering its usual panoramic view of the Pacific from the outdoor terrace at the Carbon Beach Club Restaurant.

Despite the serene scene, less than a mile away, one of California’s most devastating fires has left a scorched landscape.

The hotel’s restaurant is unusually quiet, with only one table occupied, as most of the guests are firefighters currently in the field.

Gregory Day, president of hospitality for the hotel’s owner, explained the lack of a lunchtime rush due to the firefighters’ presence.
