Afua Asantewaa O Aduonum, a Guinness World Record attemptee, has secured a second brand ambassadorial deal within five days, this time with Ike City Hotel in Community 25.
The agreement, effective from February 21, 2024, outlines her role as a representative to promote and market the hotel through various media channels until February 2026, with the possibility of renewal.
Mr. Isaac Ofori Amoako, the President of Ike City Hotel, expressed delight in having Afua Asantewaa as the brand ambassador, highlighting her tenacity, resilience, and luxury sense as qualities aligning with the hotel’s vision to redefine the hospitality industry.
In March 2024, The Multimedia Group plans to celebrate Ghana Month with a special focus on promoting the country’s rich cultural heritage, history, and achievements.
The Made in Ghana Fair (Ghana Month Edition) will be featured throughout the month.
The programming will include special interviews, discussions on Ghanaian history and culture, musical showcases, and interactive sessions with listeners to share their own stories.
The media house aims to highlight various aspects of Ghanaian culture, such as language, dance, fashion, tourism, history, and food.
The emphasis is on fostering national unity and pride among Ghanaians.
A key feature of Ghana Month will be the “Ghanaian Heroes” series, profiling individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of Ghana in politics, arts, sports, and business.
The initiative seeks to showcase and celebrate Ghana’s cultural richness while encouraging a sense of identity and appreciation among the citizens.

The Ghana Culture Forum (GCF) has announced plans for the Ghana Culture Week celebrations from March 12 – 17, 2024, with the theme ‘Cultivating Cultural Capital: Nurturing Ghana’s Legacy for Africa’s Renaissance.’
Activities include an inter-schools debate, a symposium, and the launch of the Africa Fashion Report in collaboration with UNESCO, concluding with a film show.
Chief Moomen, producer of “Mansa Musa,” will deliver the keynote address.
The Ghana Tourism Authority expressed support, acknowledging GCF’s role in enhancing the cultural sector.
The week-long celebration expands on the annual Ghana Culture Day commemorated since 2012.
