Land Commission asked to adhere to guidelines in land administration
Nii Ayidzaku Tackie, has called upon the Land Commission to rigorously adhere to established guidelines governing land matters, effectively thwarting any involvement of unauthorized entities in land administration.
At a press conference held in Kwabenya, he addressed a series of concerns that revolve around their land holdings.
He took the opportunity to remind developers operating on their lands to align their documentation with the Nii Odai Ntow family, a measure intended to mitigate potential conflicts.
While Nii Ayidzaku Tackie acknowledged certain members of the Lands Commission for their adherence to legality, he also issued a stern admonishment to those who may collude with unauthorized individuals to unjustly seize their lands.
Public encouraged to insure their properties
Mr. Salifu Abubakar Godmar, the General Manager of Marketing and Business Development at Priority Insurance Company Limited, has emphasized the company’s commitment to homeowners and their insurance needs.
Recognizing the impact of recent and historical fires, the company has introduced a comprehensive fire policy designed to safeguard individuals and organizations from potential misfortunes.
He highlighted the significance of Fire Insurance for individuals, safeguarding their properties encompassing residences, personal belongings, and possessions.
Furthermore, he stressed that businesses, both commercial and industrial, could secure coverage for their assets such as buildings, machinery, equipment, raw materials, finished goods, and profits.

Environmental Scientist Mr. Richard Adjei-Poku has advised Ghanaians to use climate-friendly building materials and plant trees to combat the impending effects of climate change.
He warned that hotter temperatures and extreme heat could afflict Ghana by 2030 due to climate change.
Adjei-Poku, also the Executive Director of Livelihood Environment Ghana (LEG), emphasized this at a climate change forum in Sunyani.
He stressed that using weather-friendly materials, planting trees, recycling plastic, and avoiding harmful practices are vital to mitigate climate change.
Adjei-Poku highlighted the decline in Ghana’s forest cover and urged action against factors like illegal mining and carbon emissions. He urged students to engage in climate change mitigation efforts for the nation’s benefit.
