Flexiclay Ghana was adjudged winners of the smart innovation finishing product in the 2022 Ghana property awards.
For 2023, it intends to partner the government and the private sector to do more projects.
In the next five years, Flexi Clay Ghana intends to expand its operations across the county and also partner with the government to embark on projects.
He said the feedback from the public had been great as they were gradually buying into the concept of using clay as building materials.
The sustainable building materials Flexi Clay Ghana uses in building are made of natural soil, recycled materials and organic fiber.
Touching on the benefits of clay building materials, Mr Quarshie said some of the benefits of clay is it’s ability to control mold ,its anti-slip nature and it saves money over time, doesn’t break and saves the cost of renovation and painting.
“Globally people are committing millions of dollars into climate change, and environment conservation. As humans we need to champion sustainable building practices.”, he added.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with PE News in Accra, he stated that the public had gradually come to accept clay building materials because of its numerous benefits.
Mr Christopher Quarshie,Flexiclay’s Ghana’s deputy director has entreated stakeholders in the property market to promote sustainable building practices to help conserve the environment.
