Co-founder and President of The Rental Housing Association of Ghana (RHAG, Mrs Regina Christian Koomson has stressed the need to create a thriving rental housing community, with a focus on education, advocacy and collaboration.
She was speaking at the launch of The Rental Housing Association of Ghana (RHAG) in Accra.
The Association is aimed at addressing some key issues pertaining to the improvement of the rental housing industry in the country.
it would also advocate for stakeholders in the sector.

The association is made up of property managers, landlords, property managers companies, real estate managers, rental housing management, and brokers among others.
Co founder and President of the Association was hopeful the initiative would address problems between landlords and tenants. Mrs Koomson entreated members to know their rights and responsibilities.
The Head of Public Relations and Rent Officer at the Rent Control Department of Ghana, Mr Emmanuel Kporsu also assured the association of their readiness to collaborate and sensitise the public about rent related issues.
