The Ghanaian community in the UK is gearing up for the Ghana@68 Independence Arts & Crafts Exhibition from March 6 to 9, 2025, celebrating the country’s rich artistic heritage.

The event kicks off at the Lighthouse Theatre on March 6 and 7 with showcases of leatherworks, paintings, Kente weaving, and cultural performances.
On March 8, the festivities will continue with the Ghana Independence Concert at Indigo at The O2, featuring performances by R2Bees, King Paluta, and Olive The Boy. Tickets for the concert are priced at £60.

The celebration concludes on March 9 at the Broadwater Farm Community Centre with another arts and crafts showcase. This series of events highlights Ghana’s creative industries and fosters cultural exchange within the diaspora.
 
Ghanaian poet and playwright Chief Moomen will perform at the Earth to Space Festival in April 2025 at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
Announcing the news on Facebook, he shared that he will deliver an exclusive one-man show on April 5, showcasing his storytelling expertise shaped by decades of practice and ancestral tradition.

He will join a distinguished lineup of Nobel Laureates, poets, astronauts, musicians, scientists, and other creatives at the festival, which merges art, science, and technology to explore space and environmental conservation.
Chief Moomen is also scheduled to perform at the festival’s launch on April 1.
