RwandAir has partnered with Africa World Airlines (AWA) to strengthen connectivity between West Africa, Rwanda, and international destinations.
 
The partnership offers smoother connections, reduced travel times, and benefits businesses, families, and tourists.
 
RwandAir has been flying to Ghana for over 10 years and sees this partnership as an opportunity to enhance its offerings without pulling aircraft from other routes.
 
Additionally, Qatar Airways is set to take a 49% stake in RwandAir, with plans to use Rwanda as a major hub to expand its presence in Africa.
 
Qatar is also investing in Rwanda’s new international airport, which is expected to accommodate 7 million passengers per annum.
 
 
Korean Air has launched a new direct service connecting Seoul and Lisbon, Portugal. The flights will operate three times a week, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, between Incheon Airport and Lisbon’s Humberto Delgado Airport.
 
The flight from Seoul departs at 13:10 and arrives in Lisbon at 20:10 local time, taking 15 hours. The flight from Lisbon departs at 22:10 and arrives in Incheon the following day at 19:10, taking 13 hours.
 
 
The route will be serviced by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, featuring 278 seats, including 24 ‘Prestige Class’ seats and 254 in economy. This new service aims to strengthen Korean Air’s presence in the European market.
