The award-winning actress expressed her gratitude to the PE Group for selecting her as an ambassador for the forthcoming concert, scheduled for October in the UK.
She deemed it a tremendous honor and extended her appreciation to the organizers, renowned for their prestigious annual events such as the Ghana Property Awards and African Housing Show, for the international acknowledgment.
“I am very passionate about Africa’s environment and a sustainable future. This role will enable me to make an impact on a large scale. Professionally, it’s an amazing opportunity to collaborate with other talented people across Africa and deliver sustainable solutions with a unified voice,” she said.
Touching on her work at Lace Up International, Ms. Sarfo emphasized her passion for giving back to society and corporate social responsibility. Since its establishment, Lace Up has collaborated with Telecel , GIMPA, MTN, and several other major brands in the country.

Sharing some of her memorable experiences as an actress, she highlighted her proud moments of sensitizing the public about the global coronavirus pandemic. She said it was one of the platforms that helped her exercise her corporate social responsibility. Looking back, she said it’s always important for actors to be involved in such initiatives.
She plans to juggle her role as an actress with her ambassadorial tasks and collaborate with other sustainability professionals in Africa to drive solutions for sustainable change.
According to her, engaging the next generation of leaders, speaking to policymakers to integrate sustainability into school curricula, and supporting youth-led initiatives focused on sustainability are effective tools for championing sustainability.
She is of the view, storytelling is a very effective tool in championing sustainability, and can be used to connect people on an emotional level by creating the right stories in the realm of sustainability and making an impact.
The 2024 Sustainability Ambassador is super excited and thrilled to be part of the concert, which is not just a celebration of music but a platform to drive solutions to sustainability in Africa.
She hopes it will go a long way in raising awareness about sustainability issues and urges potential partners to ignite the passion for sustainability and take action.
