In an exclusive interview with African Home Building News in Accra, Ms. Rejoyce Obodai, the Founder of Prime Radar Realty, emphasized the crucial need for proper land documentation in Ghana.
From a young age, Ms. Obodai displayed a keen interest in technical drawings, eventually specializing in architecture with a focus on real estate and residential buildings. She spent five years at The Central University in Accra, honing her skills. Post-graduation, she worked at the Lands Commission, gaining valuable experience before founding Prime Radar Realty.
During the interview, Ms. Obodai urged prospective landowners to register their lands with the Lands Commission. Emphasizing the importance of following the official fees at each stage of the process, she highlighted the benefits of the ongoing digitization of land documentation, making it seamless and easily accessible.
The Architect stressed the significance of adhering to the updated land laws, encouraging the public to familiarize themselves with the Land Act.
She warned against cutting corners in the documentation process, emphasizing the need to collaborate with professionals to avoid falsified documents.
Ms. Obodai expressed concern about the cumbersome nature of undocumented lands and the challenges it poses during the documentation process. She acknowledged the assistance provided by her company, Prime Radar Realty, in helping over 50 landowners in the Greater Accra Region to successfully document their properties, including clients in the Eastern Region.
In addition to land documentation services, Prime Radar Realty offers residential and master plan design services. Looking forward, Ms. Obodai aspires for Prime Radar Realty to become a household name in the real estate sector in Ghana.
