The Government has restated its commitment to offering cost-effective housing solutions.
During his address at the 15th Ghana Property Awards, Dr. Richard Asante Yeboah, the Acting Executive Secretary of the Public Servants Housing Loans Scheme expressed concern about the exorbitant costs associated with both building and renting homes in the country and
reiterated the government’s dedication to providing affordable housing loans.
Dr. Yeboah emphasised that the Public Servant Housing Loan Scheme aims to support public sector workers in accessing decent homes through the National rental assistance scheme introduced by the government.
Touching on the awards ,Madam Irene Agyenkwa, the Executive Director of the Ghana Property Awards, highlighted the rigorous process undertaken by a team of surveyors, engineers, and other experts to assess and ensure that awards are granted to deserving organisations.
She said the awards also aids service providers in delivering genuine value to their clients.
The 15th edition of the Ghana Property Awards brought together industry leaders, innovators, and visionaries who have played pivotal roles in shaping the nation’s dynamic real estate landscape.
Some dignitaries who graced the event on behalf of the British High Commission included Pamela Bassah, Head of Strategic Partnerships and Diaspora Relations at the British High Commission, and Michael Taabavi, Infrastructure Advisor at the UK Department for Business and Trade.
