Sharing her experiences, Oprah took to her Instagram account to post a video where she immersed herself in the traditional dance form of Dakka Marrakchia, often performed during weddings and celebrations. The media mogul also delighted in trying some local fare served in a charming tent styled in the Moroccan tradition.
Accompanied by her daughter-girl Liliane, Oprah expressed her admiration for Marrakech, stating, “I spent two beautiful days in Marrakesh, Morocco, which wasn’t enough time to experience so much magnificent culture.” She continued by conveying her heartfelt gratitude for the soul-filling experience she had in Morocco.
In an article published on her website, Oprah Daily, the billionaire TV star and philanthropist shared her enriching encounters during her stay at the Amanjena Hotel. Among them, she recounted a memorable interaction with a young hotel butler named Mehdi, who left an enduring “heart print” on her soul. She praised Mehdi for providing impeccable service and offering a glimpse into the authentic Moroccan hospitality that she and Liliane received throughout their stay.
