Phoenix Homes’ Chief Executive Officer, Mr. John Kwaku Ephraim, reiterated the firm’s
commitment to offering affordable housing for all people, regardless of where they live.
Phoenix Homes aspires to fulfill everyone’s goal of home ownership, he said in an
interview with PE Online TV in Accra.
Real estate, according to Mr. Ephraim, is the best kind of investment due to its passive
benefits.
He claims that it is one investment that will be a success.
He discussed the housing deficit in the nation and the demand for investors to enter the
real estate market.
According to the CEO of Phoenix Homes, research is crucial for people who want to
venture into the real estate space.
‘You do not go into real estate with the impression or motivation to make money, once
you identify a problem and solve that the doors will open” ,he said.
Touching on some of their projects, he said their Sereno homes are designed for
holiday lovers particularly for persons in the diaspora with beautiful scenery.
He said Phoenix Homes would soon introduce pension backed mortgages and also help
people to acquire homes with interest free loans.
Mr Ephraim said the real estate landscape has been good so far.
He entreated people from the diaspora to buy homes in Ghana
drawing on the success of the year of return.
However he stressed the need to change the narrative about developing property in
the
country since there are stories that discourage diasporans.
Mr Ephraim said challenges with land is a setback for developers but urged the
government to step up efforts to support private developers to provide affordable
housing to bridge the housing deficit in the country.
